About the Role
The Operations Integrator serves as a senior advisor to the Cybersecurity Directorate, leading enterprise-wide coordination, strategic alignment, and executive operations across stakeholders in the cyberspace domain. The incumbent ensures unity of effort across directorates, synchronizes initiatives tied to Army and DoD cyber priorities, and delivers high-impact executive communications that enable decision-making at senior levels. This role requires exceptional judgement, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate complex operational, policy, and organizational issues into actionable insights to Government leadership.
Impact
This position plays a critical role in enabling the Cybersecurity Directorate to operate with precision, strategic alignment, and executive-level rigor. By supporting enterprise integration, shaping executive communications, and informing senior-leaders decision-making, the enabling informed decision-making, the Senior Operations Integration Management & Strategic Program Advisor significantly enhances the Army’s ability to govern, secure, and modernize cyberspace operations.
Requirements
Duties
Support operational integration efforts across the Cybersecurity Directorate by facilitating alignment among directorates, divisions, mission partners, and external stakeholders.
Support the development of executive-level briefings, strategic communications, and decision products for General Officers, SES leaders, and senior staff.
Maintain situational awareness of key cyber initiatives, identify operational risks and dependencies, and provide senior leaders with timely assessments.
Facilitate cross-directorate collaboration by coordinating taskers, aligning priorities, and removing barriers to execution.
Support enterprise planning efforts involving cyber readiness, workforce initiatives, and organizational optimization to include but not limited to 8140 initiatives.
Serve as a bridge between technical specialists and executive leadership—translating operational data, policy implications, and technical insights into executive-level recommendations.
Enhance directorate business processes, support information flow, and enhance decision battle rhythm operations across the directorate.
Facilitate or support special projects, working groups, and enterprise initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience: Must demonstrate more than 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the following areas:
Coordinating complex operations or organizational priorities at the enterprise level.
Delivering executive-level briefings, reports, and strategic communications.
Leading cross-functional integration efforts across large organizations.
Advising senior leaders on operational impacts, policy considerations, and strategic alignment.
Managing or supporting mission-critical tasks in cybersecurity, or strategic-level operations.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.
Military-Specific Experience: Demonstrated senior-level experience in military operations, planning, or leadership roles, with a preference for candidates with Army experience or equivalent military background.
Education
Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., National Resource Strategy, Operations Management, Cybersecurity or a related field) is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of Army Headquarters operations, enterprise cyber priorities, and senior-leader decision processes.
Skill in developing high-quality executive-level briefings, and strategic communications.
Ability to integrate activities across diverse stakeholders and facilitate unity of effort.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes across senior echelons.
Conditions of Employment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
Occasional travel may be required.
