About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to support our security operations, infrastructure protection, and vulnerability management efforts. This role is ideal for an early-career cybersecurity professional with strong technical fundamentals, hands-on Linux experience, and a passion for security best practices.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats
Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities
Help maintain secure Linux and network environments
Document incidents, findings, and security procedures
Assist senior engineers with audits, testing, and investigations
Provide technical support related to security tools and controls
Required Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or system administration
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
Working knowledge of Linux systems
Familiarity with security concepts such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access controls
Ability to document technical information clearly
Preferred Qualifications
CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Linux+
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
Exposure to incident response or SOC operations
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
