About the Role
LCS Defense is seeking a highly skilled FPGA Developer to join our classified hardware development team in Arlington, VA (TS//SCI clearance required)
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement RTL for high-speed networking applications,
· Develop custom IP cores, integrate third-party IP
· Ensure timing closure across complex designs.
· Working closely with hardware and software engineers in a classified environment
· Oversee FPGA implementation and optimization while supporting design verification and debug efforts.
Required Education, Experience and Skills:
· Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer engineering,
· 7+ years of FPGA development experience,
· Proficiency in System Verilog,
· Extensive experience with Xilinx/Intel FPGA design tools and high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR).
Desired Skills
· Network security applications, networking protocols and standards, scripting languages (Python, Tcl),
· Familiarity with hardware security requirements.
